Lead ammunition ban in Britain
The UK government has made the historic decision to ban lead ammunition for outdoor shooting in Great Britain – throwing a vital lifeline to swans, geese, ducks and other wildlife prone to poisoning.
Once the law is enacted and properly enforced, it will mark a major step forward in eliminating a highly toxic pollutant from the British countryside—leading to healthier birds, wildlife, and people.
